The grizzly bear highway. We watched a dozen bears from our camp cross back and forth on this bar about 200 yards from our camp. Jay Sampson holds up another chunky 20" Rainbow. Rainbows on this trip averaged 18". Nate with a "scout" coho. These bright, spunky little jacks are the first to arrive in the river and darn tasty too! Scott Giles with a sea-lice buck silver salmon. An island by one evenings camp produced fish after fish like this.
heavy striped leopard rainbow grizzly bear stands up small rainbow trout rainbow trout with sculpin pattern
The best of Alaska, a deep striped leopard rainbow caught on a mouse pattern. Mr. Bear spots the raft and is a little worried we might take his Salmon. Don't worry, there is plenty for all. Nate with a pretty little rainbow trout A big rainbow taken on a sculpin cocktail. The "egg-sucking sculpin", deadly for big fish.
