Gerrit displays a steller upper drainage rainbow. This fish was taken just a few miles from the lake. |
Jack with a average SW Alaska bow, taken on a mouse pattern. |
Now that's a dollie! Ryan with a 5-6lb chrome Dolly Varden. |
Scott with a typical early run coho, taken on a purple flash fly. |

The super grand slam bonus fish, a lake trout. There are very few of these in the system but Ryan managed to find one to complete his super grand slam. 8 species of fish in one trip! |
Hiking the braids. One of our favorite SW AK activities. If there are spawning salmon there, rainbows and dollies will follow. |
A big mainstem rainbow. Rainbows on this trip averaged 18", with some of the bigger fish pushing 24-25". |
Doubles, doubles, doubles. If you're into catching lots of fish, this trip just can't be beat. |

Gerrit and this Coho share a similar expression. Put the fish back in the water G-man. |
A real treat. The crew celebrates the first big coho day of the trip with a little teriyaki salmon and a bottle of bubbly. |
An amazing sunrise over the tundra. |
Jesse with a sea-lice bullet. It's tough to beat 80 degree days and salmon action like this. |

Words can not describe the experience of a trip like this. |
Every week, the group will land a few trophy fish. Ryan had the hot trophy rod of the week, taking this pig dollie after dinner one evening. Keep in mind Ryan is 6'5". That's a whopper. |
Scott is satisfied with his choice of dinner for the evening. Fresh fish is an understatement. |
Cheers to another sucessful week in Alaska. Perfect weather and amazing fishing. |
