| The morning bite has been excellent and we rarely miss it. That means putting in at 0:Dark-Thrity and getting up even earlier. |
A downstream river view of Siletz Tidewater. So very quiet and peaceful first thing in the morning. |
A beautiful example of a sea-run cutthroat trout. This fish struck a #8 B & O. |
Good rain the third week of August pulled lots of bluebacks in from estuaries. The time is now for great Sea-run cutthroat fishing. |

| On a cloudy day in late August on the Siletz, Ryan landed this awesome blueback. Extremely chrome and fresh from the salt, this fish didn't even have cutt marks yet. |
Working a riffle on the Nestucca for cutthroats and steelhead. The steelhead were a no show on this day, but the Sea-runs were very active. |
The cutts aren't all of the sea run variety this time of year. Shane boated this classic resident coastal cutthroat working the dry line swing. |

| Jon shows off a classic Summer run Clackamas steelhead he landed during the middle of a Summer day. |
Jon's fish struck hard in a boulder strewn tailout. This was just one of five fish hooked that day. |
A resident Clackamas deer looking to cool off by standing in the shade and in the river. Smart deer. |

| Close up of a typical clackamas hen steelhead, taken in late August. About 28" and 8 pounds, spot on average for this stream. |
Jason with an early morning hen steelhead. This fish took hard in 3' of water and jumped an amazing 8 times! |
