OINK, OINK. That's a piggie! These bright fish were tough to land, just ask Kurt Admiring the beauty after chasing her through two sets of rapids. As the water dropped and cleared we began to hit large pods of bity fish
The few native rainbows fought just as hard as their larger ocean going cousins Some guys took a day off to chase oversize rainbows in another drainage. Not a bad plan. Dolly Varden provided constant action and a couple evening meals. Releasing the last fish of day 3. One of 5 tagged in the last hour of light.
When rivers levels were spot on, fishing was simply amazing! Jon's smile says it all. FUN! Doubles and triples were constant with dark Coho, Steelhead, Dollies and Rainbows A round fresh chromer caught during imperfect water conditions
BIG HEN STEELHEAD Jason lewis revives and realeases a monster Jesse with "just another" average bright hen Jason took this fish in 24" of water along side a big boulder. Clever guy.
Watching all the fish swim away was a trip highlight. All these fish are still there, swimming strong More happy fish. Fall Steelheading at its' finest Thanks to the Rivers for an unbeliveable week of fishing!
